YOGA-ing

Yoga which is originated from India is a way of life that strengthens your body and mind. It has the power to massage and stimulate your internal organs to work even better. So if you want to break free from depending on your medication and painkillers, just follow these simple poses.


First and foremost, for starters like us, we should do the MOUNTAIN POSE which is the FOUNDATION for other poses.
Mountain Pose 
  1. Stand with your toes and heels touching together
  2. Tighten your kneecaps and quadriceps by pulling them upwards
  3. Draw your hips inwards
  4. Palm should face your thighs and fingers pointed down. Keep your head straight


Situation 1: You suffer from CONSTIPATION
  1. Stand in Mountain pose with feet apart
  2. Kneel and place your palms on the floor(picture 1)
  3. Walk your feet back away from hands, until your buttocks are raised(picture 2)
  4. Remain for a few breaths
  5. Reverse the steps to get out
Situation 2: You can't SLEEP
This position is called: Inverted Lake Pose
  1. Sit sideways to a wall, turn your body towards it and lift your legs onto the wall
  2. Rest your head on the floor
  3. Spread your arms out with palms facing down
  4. Close your eyes breathe deep about 3-4 minutes
Situation 3: You have HEADACHES

This is the simplest yoga pose for headache relief. It is called: Yoga Neck Rolls

Situation 4: You suffer from BACKACHES

  1. Lie down with both arms close to your sides
  2. Bend your knees bringing your feet close to your buttocks(picture 1)
  3. Raise your hips and breathe for several times(picture 2)
  4. Bring your hips down to relax
Situation 5: You feel EXHAUSTED/FATIGUE
  1. Begin with a mountain pose- but with your legs apart
  2. Inhale and raise your hands upwards
  3. While exhaling, bend from your waist towards the floor
  4. Bring your abdomen closer to your thighs
  5. Bring your palms to the back of your ankles
  6. Hold on about 30 seconds to 1 minute
